Our Volunteer Trustees

Our Volunteer Trustees provide the backbone of our organisation, and whose input is vital for the ongoing management of Swim Narberth.

Chris Walters
Chairman of Pool & Trustee's

Chris joined SwimNarberth in the summer of 2020 not long after the Start of COVID-19 and was recently appointed Chairman of the Pool & Trustees in March 2021 following the resignation and retirement of Sue Rees.

​

Chris works full-time in the Oil & Gas Industry as a Commercial Co-Ordinator but also deal's with Industry ISO Audits inc. Health & Safety. 

​

Chris is also a Past Mayor of Narberth, Serving as Deputy Mayor 2018-2019 and Mayor of two terms 2019-2021,

 

Chris is also chairman of Narberth Civic Week and continues to be an active community Town Councillor.

Martin James
Deputy Chairman & Trustee

Martin joined SwimNarberth in the summer of 2020 not long after the Start of COVID-19 and is the driving force behind our new Swimming Teachers and Staff.

​

Martin has worked in the Leisure industry the majority of his life and used to own his own Health Club in Kilgetty.

​

Martin has been a swimming teacher since 1977 and was appointed as a Tutor with the ASA in 1986.  He has tutored all over wales for many years and after a Gap re-trained as a Tutor with Swim Wales in 2009

​

Martin is also a keen photographer, blogger and dog walker and loves spending time with his Wife & Family

Nina Goldsworthy-Griffiths
Trustee

Nina joined Swim Narberth in the summer of 2022.  She grew up in Tenby and is an extremely keen open water sea and pool swimmer. 

 

Having been a Tenby Dolphin for many years in the early days.  Nina has taken part in many sports activities such as Long Course, TenFoot and Green Monsters Swims.   

 

Nina works full-time as a freelance leadership and behavioural specialist that improves employee and customer satisfaction.   She is passionate about people, ensuring they feel “Supported, Valued and Engaged”, having a degree in Training and Education, PGCE, ILM level 7 in Coaching and Insights Discovery Licensed Practitioner.

Nina looks forward to working with everyone and contributing to the team.
