Chris Walters
Chairman of Pool & Trustee's
Chris joined Swim Narberth in the summer of 2020, shortly after the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, at a critical time for the pool and the wider community. In March 2021, he was appointed Chairman of the Pool and Board of Trustees following the resignation and retirement of Sue Rees.
Chris works full-time in the Oil & Gas industry, specialising in Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental (QHSE) management. He brings strong leadership, governance, risk management, and operational oversight skills to Swim Narberth, helping to guide the organisation through periods of challenge, recovery, and growth.
Alongside his professional role, Chris has a strong record of public service. He is a former Mayor of Narberth, having previously served as Deputy Mayor, and stepped down as an active Town Councillor in December 2025 after many years of service. He is also the proud Chairman of Narberth Civic Week and a long-standing member of the RAOB in Narberth, reflecting his deep commitment to community life.
Chris is passionate about protecting and developing Swim Narberth as a sustainable, inclusive, and community-led facility, ensuring it continues to serve future generations.

Richard 'Stag' Jones
Deputy Chairman & Trustee
Richard Jones joined the Board of Trustees at Swim Narberth in 2023, bringing with him a wealth of experience from a distinguished career in education. A retired Head Teacher, Richard offers strong leadership skills, sound governance insight, and a deep understanding of safeguarding, people management, and organisational development.
In recognition of his commitment and contribution, Richard was appointed Deputy Chairman in 2025. He plays an active role in supporting the strategic direction of the charity and provides thoughtful challenge and guidance to the Board.
Outside of the pool, Richard is a passionate rugby supporter, and his team spirit, integrity, and dedication are evident in everything he does. Richard’s breadth of skills and experience continues to be a valuable asset to Swim Narberth as it serves the local community.

Nina Goldsworthy-Griffiths
Trustee
Nina joined Swim Narberth in the summer of 2022. Having grown up in Tenby, she is an extremely keen open-water and pool swimmer and has been involved in aquatic sports from an early age. As a long-standing Tenby Dolphin in her earlier years, Nina has taken part in a wide range of swimming challenges and events, including Long Course, TenFoot, and Green Monsters swims.
Professionally, Nina works full-time as a freelance leadership and behavioural specialist, supporting organisations to improve employee and customer satisfaction. She is deeply passionate about people and is committed to ensuring individuals feel supported, valued, and engaged.
Nina holds a degree in Training and Education, a PGCE, an ILM Level 7 qualification in Coaching, and is an Insights Discovery Licensed Practitioner. She brings a strong people-focused skill set to Swim Narberth and looks forward to working with everyone while contributing positively to the team and wider organisation.

Judith Jones
Trustee
Judith joined Swim Narberth around the same time as her husband Richard, proving that trusteeship is very much a family affair. A former teacher, Judith brings a strong background in education, organisation, and people management, alongside a calm, practical approach to problem-solving.
A keen swimmer herself, Judith is a passionate advocate for the pool and the people who use it. She is known for her great sense of humour and her natural ability to promote, encourage, and support others—skills honed through years in education and community involvement.
Well-versed in keeping order (thanks to many years in the classroom), Judith is approachable, enthusiastic, and always willing to get stuck in wherever help is needed. Her positivity, people skills, and commitment to the community make her a valued and well-loved member of the Swim Narberth team.
